Doha, Qatar – A new era in ethical digital entertainment is here. Nasheedio, an AI-powered audio streaming platform, officially launched at Web Summit Qatar 2025, held from February 23 to 26.
The summit, featuring over 25,000 participants and 1,500+ startups, provided Nasheedio with a global platform to present its mission. Built for Muslim audiences, Nasheedio ensures a curated, faith-compliant content experience.
A Dedicated Space for Faith-Aligned Audio Content
Nasheedio differentiates itself from mainstream platforms by offering an exclusive collection of nasheeds, podcasts, and Islamic educational content. Unlike other services, it guarantees adherence to Islamic principles, creating a safe listening space.
Muslim consumers often struggle to find content aligned with their faith. Nasheedio addresses this challenge by ensuring a seamless and distraction-free audio experience. The platform caters to individuals seeking values-driven entertainment and families looking for trustworthy content.
Surging Popularity and Market Growth
Since its Play Store launch in September 2024, Nasheedio has gained significant traction. CEO Lucy Amanda, speaking at Web Summit Qatar, shared insights into the platform’s remarkable growth.
“We’ve already achieved 170,000 downloads and 760,000 active users. Our goal is to surpass 500,000 downloads by the end of Ramadan. Given the global Muslim population of over two billion, we see enormous demand for this service,” Amanda stated.
Nasheedio’s growing user base demonstrates a strong need for platforms that cater to religious and cultural preferences.
A Platform for Both Listeners and Creators
Nasheedio is gaining momentum not only among users but also within the creator community. Many Islamic content producers have long hesitated to use platforms like Spotify and YouTube due to conflicting values.
“We’re witnessing a surge in creators joining us because our platform respects their beliefs,” Amanda noted. “Users are excited that someone has built this for the Muslim community, and creators now have a dedicated space for their work.”
Nasheedio enforces strict content guidelines, ensuring all audio materials align with Islamic teachings. This commitment enhances trust among users and makes it a top choice for faith-conscious families.
Designed for a Global Audience
While Nasheedio primarily serves the Muslim community, Amanda emphasized its inclusivity.
“This platform isn’t just for Muslims,” she said. “Non-Muslims curious about Islam can explore our educational content. We also feature business and lifestyle podcasts that cater to a diverse audience.”
By offering ethically curated content, Nasheedio appeals to users who seek high-quality, values-driven entertainment beyond religious lines.
Future Expansion and Monetization Plans
Currently, Nasheedio remains free for users, but premium subscription models are in development. Amanda revealed plans for additional revenue streams, including exclusive content, ad-free listening, and enhanced features.
“We are preparing to introduce premium features in the coming months, but for now, the app is completely free,” she stated.
Nasheedio’s launch represents a major milestone in faith-based digital innovation. As it expands, it is poised to reshape the ethical streaming landscape, meeting the growing demand for culturally and religiously aligned content.
