The Qatar Chamber convened a high-profile meeting yesterday, welcoming a distinguished business delegation from Sweden.
It was Led by Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani and the Qatari side engaged in discussions with Håkan Buskhe, CEO of FAM AB Company, who headed the Swedish delegation.
The meeting was held at the SANAD Private Members Club in Msheireb Downtown Doha, and witnessed the presence of esteemed officials including the Ambassador of Sweden to Qatar, H E Gautam Bhattacharyya, alongside board members of the Qatar Chamber and numerous business owners from both nations.
Throughout the gathering, the emphasis was on exploring avenues to bolster cooperation across various sectors such as foodstuffs, agriculture, energy, IT, and moving floors.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani lauded the flourishing relations between Qatar and Sweden, underscoring the substantial increase in trade volume from QR866m in 2022 to QR1.55bn in the preceding year.
He invited Swedish companies to invest in Qatar. He highlighted that Qatar is a premier global investment destination with top-notch infrastructure. Qatar has investor-friendly policies that allow 100% foreign ownership in most economic sectors.
