The Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition (DJWE) 2025 is more than a grand display of luxury—it is a powerful statement on how jewellery can drive social change and inclusion. Held in Qatar, this year’s event brings forth collections that transcend mere aesthetics, fostering awareness and making a meaningful impact.
One of the standout showcases this year is the ‘Love Is Blind’ collection, created by multimedia artist Yousef Fakhroo in collaboration with H Jewelry and Hairaat Jewellery. Inspired by the beauty of Braille, this line transforms the language of touch into elegant jewellery pieces that spell out ‘love’ in Arabic. Beyond its artistic appeal, the collection serves a greater purpose—raising awareness for the visually impaired community in Qatar. Developed in partnership with Al Noor Center for the Blind, it highlights the potential of jewellery to be a tool for inclusion and social responsibility.
Jewellery as a Medium for Philanthropy
Beyond promoting inclusivity, DJWE 2025 reinforces the role of jewellery in philanthropy. Education Above All (EAA), the exhibition’s philanthropic partner, has introduced a breathtaking collection, Horizons of Heritage, which blends fine craftsmanship with cultural heritage. The proceeds from this collection will directly support global education initiatives, benefiting over 22 million children and youth worldwide.
The collection features intricate designs inspired by architectural brilliance, with standout pieces such as the Blue Mosque series, comprising bangles, necklaces, earrings, and brooches. Other notable additions include Misbaha bracelets, diamond and emerald rings, sterling silver accessories, and the exclusive EAA brooches and cord bracelets, all symbolizing a commitment to education through art and design.
DJWE 2025: A Hub for Innovation and Cultural Exchange
Organized by Qatar Tourism and presented by Visit Qatar, DJWE remains a key global luxury calendar event. This premier exhibition offers a unique platform where emerging designers and established brands converge, fostering creative collaborations and business opportunities.
With an extensive lineup of networking sessions, exclusive launches, and business-to-business (B2B) interactions, the 21st edition of DJWE reaffirms its position as an epicenter of artistic excellence and social progress. By seamlessly blending craftsmanship with purpose, DJWE 2025 is a testament to how jewellery can be both a symbol of elegance and a force for meaningful change.
