During the second day of the Web Summit conference in Qatar, an essential memorandum of understanding was signed between the Qatari Government Communications Office and TikTok. Sheikh Mansour bin Jabor Al Thani, Chairman of Web Summit Qatar, and Shadi Kandil, TikTok’s General Manager for Global Business Solutions, officiated the signing.
In his remarks, Sheikh Mansour highlighted the agreement as a significant move towards bolstering Qatar’s standing as a content creation hub in the region. He expressed confidence in the collaboration’s potential to yield tangible outcomes aligned with their shared goals and aspirations.
